This lot includes two signed Topps cards from Jim Bouton, including his 1962 Topps Rookie Parade No. 592. Bouton's rookie is a tough card to find signed and is from the challenging High Number series. The signature is Mint and place just below his photo on this multi-photo card. In his first three seasons (1962-1964) with the Yankees, Bouton won 46 games, but injured his arm and became a knuckleball pitcher, and never again achieved the success on the mound that he enjoyed in his first three seasons. The lot also includes a signed 1965 Topps No. 30 from Bouton, who is also well-known as the author of the controversial baseball book "Ball Four."
