Offered is a 1981 Topps Baseball Cut Card Case, that unique sales component that Topps utilized for generations to move overflow inventory by stacking uncirculated cards in a box that would typically number about 8,650. Because of the unusual nature of the packing of the cards without individual smaller boxes (as in the case of vending), cards at the top or at the various edges and corners can show some handling, but ultimately the case should yield literally thousands of pristine, uncirculated cards that could command impressive grades from third-party graders. A couple of random spot checks found cards from the F sheet that year; Topps Cut Card Cases traditionally would be limited to a single sheet or a mixture of sheets. The box also has some damage as is not uncommon for the genre.
