Presented is a handsome game-used bat from the legendary Detroit Tiger Mickey Lolich, one of the greatest pitchers in club history and the 1968 World Series MVP. The 35-inch Louisville Slugger reveals good game use, including a prodigious amount of pine tar and even a couple of ball marks from a player better known for trying to scrupulously avoid such things. The bat has “All Star Game, Mickey Lolich, Detroit – 1971” on the barrel and “S2 L” stamped on the knob. Bat is in outstanding condition and is an important artifact from a key figure in Detroit Tigers lore and legend.
