This lot features 17 single-signed baseballs from members of the 1984 Detroit Tigers, who won the World Series in five games over the Padres. The following players signed 1984 World Series balls - Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Tom Brookens, Rusty Kuntz, Lance Parrish, Darrell Evans and Juan Berenguer. Other signed baseballs include: Milt Wilcox, Dan Petry, Aurelio Rodriguez, Dave Rozema, Jack Morris, Dave Bergman, Larry Herndon, Kirk Gibson, Guillermo Hernandez and Sparky Anderson, who added a lengthy inscription "1984 Detroit Tigers" on the sweet spot and "World Series Champs Beat San Diego 4-1" on the South panel.
