This 1951 New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox spring training program is signed on the front and back covers by 15 players, led by a pre-rookie signature from Mickey Mantle. Other signatures include: Johnny Mize, Jackie Jensen, Ralph Houk, Lou Burdette, Joe Page, Joe Collins, Tommy Byrnes, Jerry Snyder, Spec Shea (2), Bob Porterfield, Fred Sanford and Joe Ostrowski. The four-page program is neatly scored inside in pencil and also includes a box score from the newspaper. Mantle didn't get an official at bat in the game, but did sub in at CF and committed an error, with the Yankees losing 5-0. This is a rare chance to get a pre-rookie Mantle signature, which arrives authenticated by BAS with a full LOA.
