This lot offers game-used bats from eight players who were members of the 2004 National League Champs St. Louis Cardinals. The list includes: Edgar Renteria, Matt Morris, Rick Ankiel, Mike Matheny, Reggie Sanders, Ray Lankford, Jim Edmonds and Jason Simontacchi. The breakdown is as follows: Morris - Louisville Slugger R161 with heavy use throughout including grain swelling on the back of the barrel, signed in black Sharpie, with "35" written on both ends along with "R161" on the end of the knob; Sanders - LS model M205 with heavy use on the back of the barrel and signed in black Sharpie, custom handle tape and "16" and "4-2" on the end of the knob; Simontacchi - LS model R161 with medium use and signed in silver Sharpie with "46" and "33-31" on the end of the knob in faded silver marker; Renteria - LS model R205 with light use and a handle crack and has "3" and "4-1-3" written on the end of the knob in black marker (Cardinals LOA); Ankiel - Rawlings model JD7 with medium to heavy use including grain swelling on the back of the barrel and "99" on the end of the barrel in silver along with "904 00" stamped in; Lankford - Mizuno Pro with medium use and signed on the barrel in silver with light pine tar on the handle and "16" written on the end of the knob in silver; and Edmonds LS model C271 with light use and "15" on the end of the knob along with "4-1."
