This model K48 Louisville Slugger was used by Lou Whitaker dates to the 1986-89 labeling period. The bat measures 35" long and has Whitaker's jersey number "10" written on both the end of the knob and end of the barrel in black marker. The barrel shows medium use in the form of ball marks, ball stitch marks and bat rack paint. The handle has a light coat of pine tar and a 9" crack with some displaced wood. Whitaker signed the barrel in blue Sharpie and the signature is authenticated by BAS with a basic COA.
