Presented is an imposing array of items from the heyday of the prewar Detroit Tigers, the years from 1934 to 1945 that saw the club nail down four American League Pennants and a pair of World Series titles with a Hall of Fame lineup that included names like Mickey Cochrane, Hank Greenberg, Charlie Gehringer, Hal Newhouser and Goose Goslin. This fascinating grouping of scorecards and team and individual photos, along with a pair of Depression Era Wheaties cards offers a marvelous glimpse at those legendary figures and the scrappy teams that comprised the club’s glory years.
