Presented is a strong complete set of the famed Anniversary Hartlands that were produced in 1988 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the popular collectible. This array is virtually as issued, despite the passage of yet another three decades-plus, with the statues as pristine and snowy white as could be, and with the attractive boxes in essentially the same condition, the latter jostled only nominally by a couple of unobtrusive small nicks in box flaps. The lineup of Near-Mint or better statues is impressive, providing the same rare opportunity for collectors to own some of the prized and rare plastic figures that might have eluded even the most diligent hobbyists, including the Dick Groat and others that were produced in much smaller numbers than some of their Hall of Fame counterparts. The 8 ½-inch figures are essentially identical to the originals, save only for a 25th Anniversary seal that is typically found at the back near the belt. Here’s the lineup: Aaron, Aparicio, Banks, Berra, Colavito, Drysdale, Fox, Groat, Killebrew, Mantle, Maris, Mathews, Mays, Musial, Ruth, Snider, Spahn and Williams.
