Presented here is a rare opportunity for someone to amass a sterling Olympics collection with the descent of the auctioneer’s hammer, an enormous, essentially as-issued array of hundreds pristine pins, medallions, coins, stamps and more, with many of the groupings handsomely presented in elegant and elaborate displays. As you might imagine, it’s an auction lot that begs for a good deal of close examination to unearth some of the incredible values included in the mix. We'll start with the single largest grouping of more than 200 assorted pins, again mostly Olympics but with a few other international sporting events included, and virtually all in as-issued condition and often including original packaging.
