This Chemical Bank & Trust Company check features the highly coveted signature of Babe Ruth. It’s dated December 15, 1938 and payable to “L.L. Bean Inc.” for $7.85. The check is filled out in Ruth’s hand and bears his name printed along the left margin. The bottom features a bold, blue ink signature from the Sultan of Swat. This one is an upgrade to almost anyone’s collection and arrives slabbed and authenticated by BAS.
