This is a cool offering that yields eight pristine boxes of 1985 Donruss Super Bubble Baseball, a now 35-year-old production that features the popular artwork of the acclaimed Dick Perez. The boxes are encased in the original cellophane, with the individual bubble gum packages inside and the colorful Perez artwork adorning the backs of each. The boxes measure 3 ½-by-6 ½ inches and 1 ½ inch deep, portraying eight legendary Hall of Fame sluggers, all elements essentially as issued, Near-Mint to Mint or better, jostled only by a couple of light dings and a small dent on the bottom of the Frank Robinson box. Dick Perez launched to hobby fame with his Hall of Fame Postcard art in 1980 and his subsequent efforts in mainstream Donruss baseball issues from the earlier half of the decade. The lineup of Super Bubble Boxes: 1) Ruth, 2) Ted Williams, 3) Gehrig, 4) Mize, 5) Musial, 6) Mantle, 7) Aaron, and 8) Robinson.
