This is an eye-catching example of the most difficult, condition-sensitive baseball card issue that Topps ever produced, the black-bordered 1971 Topps set that remains one of the true classics for serious collectors. This example is essentially Ex-Mt to Near-Mint or even better, with two cards found in PSA slabs and four other keys nudged by PSA for Evidence of Trim (one Recolored). The No. 5 Munson and No. 600 Mays are both PSA 5; No. 100 Rose, No. 400 Aaron and No. 630 Clemente were each cited for Evidence of Trim, and the No. 513 Ryan was cited as Recolored. With four keys cited for Evidence of Trim, the slight sawtooth appearance of the stacked cards would typically prompt concern, but it should be noted that the distinctive look seems to stem from some cards being slightly larger than standard dimensions rather than large numbers being undersized.
