This lot offers 11 different game-used bats from players from the 1987 St. Louis Cardinals team, which won the National League pennant. The biggest name is Ozzie Smith, with a Louisville Slugger H238 model, with arrives with light coat of pine tar on the handle and medium use in the form of several ball marks on the barrel and stitch marks on the back of the barrel with Smith's uniform number "1" written on the end of the knob in red marker and signed on the barrel in black Sharpie. The rest of the lineup includes: Tom Herr - Rawlings Big Stick with minimal use and "28" on the end of the knob in silver marker; Vince Coleman - Louisville Slugger model T142 with very light use in the form of bat rack marks, signed in blue Sharpie on the barrel and "T142" in silver and outlined in black on the knob; Todd Worrell - Louisville Slugger model C243 with medium use with a handle crack, medium coat of pine tar and "38" in black marker on the end of the knob; Jose Oquendo - Lousiville Slugger model I13 signed in blue Sharpie on the barrel, multiple handle cracks with heavy use and "11" and "35-32" on the end of the knob in black marker; Tom Pagnozzi - Louisville Slugger model M110 with heavy use on all sides of the barrel, heavy coat of pine tar, signed on the barrel and "19" and "34-32" on the end of the knob; Willie McGee - Louisville Slugger model C271 with medium use in the form of stitch and ball marks on the back of the barrel and a light coat of pine tar on the handle; Tito Landrum - Louisville Slugger model M159 with medium use, light coat of pine tar "27" on the end of the knob in black marker; Joe Magrane - Louisville Slugger model C263 with medium use, including a handle crack, heavy coat of pine tar and ball and stitch marks on the barrel with "32" on the end of the knob in black marker; Tony Pena - Louisville Slugger model P72 with medium use on the barrel and white handle tape and signed on the barrel in silver Sharpie; and Ricky Horton - Louisville Slugger model C271 with medium use in the form of stitch and ball marks on the barrel and "C271" on the end of the knob in silver marker with a black marker background.
