From the 1964 Heisman Trophy winner John Huarte comes this standout navy mesh jersey dated to 1972 when the backup QB appeared in a pair of games for the Bears. Shirt has the appropriate Wilson labeling (1967-74 Size 44) on the front and straight-stitched 14 ½-by-4 ½-inch nameplate on the back, with orange and white tackle twill, same as is No. 7 front and back and on the sleeves, with zigzag stitching consistent and correct. Shirt has single-play shoulders with diagonal shoulder seams. Includes style matching for game use to Oct. 15, 1972 game against Cleveland. There were two styles of mesh used in 1971-72 without the sleeve stripes and this is the heavier version.
