This classic three-panel NBA gem is one of the most coveted cards of all time. Basketball fans can have the three most dominant players of an era all on one card. Rookies of Bird and Magic, combined with Dr. J, who single handedly forced the NBA-ABA merger; because the game’s greatest star wasn't playing in its best league. Topps executives had to chuckle when they released this card, knowing every kid in America would open pack after pack of cards searching for this cardboard classic. As an added bit of appeal, the card’s number six was also Julius Erving’s uniform number in Philadelphia. Here's a BVG 8.5 example of one of the more sought-after cards in the sport.
