Here are a dozen important Topps baseball cards mostly from the 1950s-70s, all nicely entombed in those attractive SGC holders and boasting a lineup that includes six Hall of Famers (including Ted Williams, Aaron and Murray Rookie) and several others who could make a pretty good case for Cooperstown. One solitary card – a 2019 Topps Now Spring Training pasteboard – falls outside the “vintage” designation. Here’s the breakdown: 1953 Topps No. 50 Dressen – SGC 50, 1956 Topps No. 235 Newcombe – SGC 40, 1958 Topps No. 1 Ted Williams – SGC 40, 1964 Topps No. 180 Tommy Davis – SGC 5.5, 1966 Topps No. 105 Pappas – SGC 6, 1967 Topps No. 398 Torborg – SGC 6, 1969 Topps No. 400 Drysdale – SGC 60, 1972 Topps No. 270 Palmer – SGC 7, 1972 Topps No. 300 Aaron In Action – SGC 70, 1972 Topps No. 510 Ted Williams – SGC 6, 1978 Topps No. 36 Eddie Murray Rookie – SGC 6, and 2019 Topps Now Spring Training – SGC 9.5.
