This is a fascinating piece from one of the great MLB pitchers from the closing decades of the last millennium, Dennis Martinez, winner of 245 games over a 23-year career that brought him all the way to the city limits sign in Cooperstown but no further. The Topps paste-up items include the front and back paste-ups of his 1977 Topps Rookie card No. 491, a Near-Mint example of the card itself and the four (4) flexichromes of said card which includes Martinez, Mike Dupree, Craig Mitchell and Bob Sykes. All elements of this unique lot are in Near-Mint or better condition, representing an important artifact from the four-time All-Star and 1981 league leader in wins.
