This is an intriguing piece of Topps memorabilia tracing its origins to the famed Topps Vault. Offered is the paste-up for the front of Garry Templeton’s 1977 Topps card used in the creation of the company’s issue that year. Templeton was a major star in the National League for a several seasons in the course of a 16-year career from 1976-91, batting .271 with 70 home runs and 728 RBI. A three-time All-Star, the shortstop also pulled down a pair of Silver Sluggers Awards. The Near-Mint artifact comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and Hologram from the Topps Vault.
