This is a very impressive array of cards from the distinctive 1955 Bowman Baseball issue, the classic offering that showcased the great stars and players of the era in handsome color TV sets at a time when nobody owned such a thing. The offered array is in a highly attractive condition of essentially Excellent to Ex-Mt, with about 1/3 of the group falling below that range, mostly to VG-Ex and Very Good. One of the key cards to the issue, No. 184 Willie Mays, is included in the mix in a card that presents much like the larger group, Excellent condition, but would be saddled with a technical grade of Fair because of significant paper loss on the reverse from having been affixed to a scrapbook page.
