Offered is a stunning partial set of 1959 Topps Baseball cards, an unparalleled group of predominantly Near-Mint or Near-Mint to Mint or better cards culled from Nos. 111-572 and including a dozen Hall of Famers, numerous star cards, Team cards, Rookies, and Specials, plus more than two dozen of the difficult High Numbers, including several All-Stars. It comes out to fully 48 percent at the top end of the spectrum at Near-Mint or Near-Mint to Mint or Better, 25 percent Ex-Mt-Plus or Better, 13 percent Ex-Mt, 12 percent Excellent and only six cards below Ex, all to VG-Ex. The partial set – with no duplication - is one of the nicest groupings of 1959 Topps that we have ever offered, an array highlighted by blazing, vivid colors, superb gloss and centering to die for. It makes a perfect complement to an adjacent lot in this auction offering 1959 Topps Baseball First Series cards from Nos. 2-110.
