This is an incredible pile of pristine unperforated sheets of the peripheral 1969 MLBPA Photostamps series, a complete set of 218 Photostamps that was issued in 8-by-10-inch sheets of 12 Photostamps (2-by-3 ¼-inch) per sheet and also in a 4-by-7-inch booklet that held 48 Photostamps in 24 pages. This amazing lot of more than 9,000 Photostamps consists of literally hundreds of sheets – meaning thousands of the Photostamps – many featuring most of the biggest names in Major League Baseball at the time. These are essentially as-issued sheets and booklets, Near-Mint or better, with only some minor wear in a few instances. The totals for some of the larger groups are approximations. The breakdown: Series Five Sheet (300), includes Photostamps of Rose, Cepeda, Jenkins and Bunning; Series Seven Sheet (28), includes Photostamps of Aaron, Mays and Clemente; Series 21 Sheet (250), includes Photostamps of Reggie Jackson, Cuellar and Belanger; Booklets (45), with Photostamps of Clemente, Banks, Seaver, Gibson, Billy Williams, Mazeroski, Jenkins, Torre, Brock, Santo and Stargell, among others. All told it comes out to 578 sheets and 45 Booklets, meaning a total of 9,086 of the Photostamps.
