Offered is a simply stunning example of the unique 1975 Topps Baseball Mini issue, that charming test effort from Topps that had limited distribution and wound up being a hobby favorite almost from the beginning. The 2 ¼-by-3 1/8-inch treasures never looked any better than they do here, not even 45 years ago, as this Near-Mint to Mint or better monster insists. In a colorful, condition-sensitive issue with full-bleed color panels that so readily reveal even the slightest handling, five slabbed keys in PSA 8 holders here neatly offer a glimpse into the wider condition range: No. 61 Winfield, No. 223 Yount Rookie, No. 228 Brett Rookie, No. 620 Carter Rookie and No. 660 Aaron. With vivid colors and incredible gloss, the set is seemingly unimprovable; just to show you that we took a peek at every page, the No. 70 Mike Schmidt and No. 150 Bob Gibson show evidence of trim. Call it the stutter that accents the eloquence.
