This is a nice pair of complete sets of the 1969 MLBPA Pins and the companion issue from 1983, with both examples presenting in an attractive mostly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition. The 7/8-inch in diameter pins from 1969 (60/60) were produced under the auspices of the MLBPA and feature black-and-white photos of MLB stars, including most of the legendary figures of the period like Aaron, Mays, Clemente, Gibson, Kaline, Killebrew and more. The offered complete sets are exceptionally clean, with no discernible difference in condition between the great Hall of Famers and the rest of the group. The reissue in 1983, with nominal design changes and complete at 36 pins as opposed to 60, presents in a similar fashion to its larger predecessor, does have some light tarnishing on the backs, appearing to varying degrees on about 2/3 of the issue.
