Here’s an impressive warm up jacket from legendary Dodgers first sacker Steve Garvey, who helped propel the club to the forefront of the National League standings by mid-decade of the 1970s. The vinyl jacket has the Goodman & Sons label at the collar, along with Size 44 and No. 6 handwritten across the wash instructions. “Dodgers” in the famed script appears across the front in white tackle twill; his name appears across the shoulders on the back in the same fashion, affixed directly to the jacket. It is original and as issued, a key artifact from a beloved figure from the era and a near-miss Hall of Famer.
