Offered is an imposing grouping of vintage Topps and Fleer football cards from the NFL’s halcyon years from 1958-62, an array that features almost three dozen Hall of Famers, including many of the legendary names from the era. The group is mostly in Very Good condition, with some Good or even Fair and a few Excellent. Here’s the breakdown: 1958 Topps (39) – Unitas – Good, Tittle – Fair, Blanda – Fair, Bednarik – Fair, Jurgensen – Fair, Johnson, Berry. Most of the cards assessed a Fair grade actually present much better and close to the wider range but end up with the lower grade because of slight paper loss on the back from having been affixed to a scrapbook page; 1960 Topps (19) – mostly Very Good, a few Excellent and a couple below, including Ane, Conerly (2), Schmidt, Brown and Johnson; 1961 Topps (28) – mostly VG to Ex, with some below, including Unitas (VG), Jim Brown (VG-Ex), Starr (Ex), Hornung (Ex), Taylor (VG), plus Jones, Bednarik, Huff and Nomellini; 1961 Fleer (6), including Baugh and Gillman; 1962 Topps (4) – VG-Ex; 1962 Fleer (47), with Kemp, Berry, Huff, Schmidt, Matson, Lowe and Stautner; 1962 Post Cereal (4) – with erratic cut.
