A sparkling PSA 8 from 1986 Fleer Basketball No. 1 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar headlines and eclectic, old-time auction lot that includes other 1986 Fleer HOFers like Magic Johnson, Julius Erving and four others (including Rookies), plus late 1980s cards of Michael Jordan and Larry Bird, an imposing group of 1959 Topps Baseball Rookies and a dozen Hall of Famers from 1960s and 1970s Topps baseball. And then, just to make sure everyone is actually paying attention, there’s a half dozen modern hockey cards from Wayne Gretzky and Brett Hull. That’s a lot to digest (pardon the pun), but ultimately there’s a good bit of value in a diverse three-sport lot with a decidedly Hall of Famer lean (75 percent) to it. Basketball and hockey groups are basically Near-Mint to Mint or better; early Topps baseball cards are broadly Ex-Mt, with some exceptions noted.
