Offered is a near set of one of the most iconic and revolutionary issues of the postwar baseball card arena, a mostly Very Good to Excellent array from 1954 Topps Baseball, an especially nice opportunity for a collector who may have the key Rookies and Hall of Famers already under lock and key. While they are missing from this lineup, the remaining 236 cards make a nice consistent presentation, coming out to 25 percent being Excellent and 67 percent Very Good to VG-Ex, and only 8 percent below, mostly to Good. Even with some of the keys AWOL, there are still 10 Hall of Famers found here, including the important and condition-sensitive No. 1 Ted Williams, Eddie Mathews, Phil Rizzuto, Hoyt Wilhelm and a half dozen others.
