From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Christy Mathewson Dark Cap card, one of the absolute key cards from the legendary set, found here in an SGC Authentic (Minimum Size) holder. Even with the shortening of the card at the bottom eliminating the player name and team, it still provides a nice presentation with the pastel blue and green background showcasing the Mathewson Dark Cap image. One of three Mathewson variations in the fabled issue, this example has significantly rounded corners, dirt and some minor areas of paper loss on the front; the Piedmont 150 Back presents nicely, with some light toning and staining.
