From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Clark Griffith Portrait, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA 1 holder, and effectively representing the legendary Hall of Fame pitcher, manager and club executive whose career spanned the 19th and 20th centuries. One of two Griffith variations in the fabled issue, this Portrait variation boasts 65/35 centering left to right and slightly rounded corners, providing a nice presentation on the front from the vivid orange pastel background that neatly sets off the portrait of Griffith; the Piedmont 350 Back reveals some significant staining and paper loss that touches perhaps 15 percent of the surface area.
