From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border John McGraw Portrait card, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in an SGC Authentic holder, a card that seemingly presents better than its technical grade, with a compelling, blazing red background that so effectively sets off the McGraw Portrait image. One of four McGraw varieties in the fabled issue, this Portrait example has decent centering all around and rounded corners; the Piedmont 150 back reveals very significant paper loss affecting nearly 85 percent of the surface area, some of that being paper residue from having been affixed to a scrapbook.
