From the granddaddy of all baseball card issues comes this T206 White Border Nap Lajoie Portrait card, one of many important key cards from the legendary set, found here in a PSA Authentic holder. Lajoie was easily one of the premier stars whose career spanned the 19th and 20th centuries, a five-time batting champion and certainly the greatest second baseman of his era and beyond. The card has some creasing and small nicks to one edge and still provides a decent presentation with the pastel yellow background that effectively sets off the Lajoie Portrait image. One of three Lajoie variations in the fabled issue, this example has decent centering and only slightly rounded corners; the Sweet Caporal Back reveals very dramatic paper loss touching perhaps 70 percent of the surface area.
