Presented is an imposing card of Hall of Famers Eddie Collins and Home Run Baker in one of the unique early tobacco issues, the 1911 T201 Mecca Double Folders that feature attractive artwork of two players that fold over to allow them to share a pair of legs. The 2 3/16th-by-4 ¾-inch cards have a full-bleed image of the primary player on the front and a smaller image of the secondary player on the back that shares space with statistics for both and the Mecca Cigarettes script at the bottom. The offered card is found in a PSA 2 holder, a condition that is a bit better than these charming cards are typically encountered in mature collections, with some paper loss at the fold on the left side. The painting of Collins on the front is particularly compelling, as is the smaller image of fellow Athletic Home Run Baker on the reverse; the printing on the back is very crisp, with some light staining and toning. The card is one of a handful from the unique issue featuring a pair of Hall of Famers.
