Presented is an important card featuring Mordecai Brown and Arthur Hofman in one of the unique early tobacco issues, the 1911 T201 Mecca Double Folders that feature attractive artwork of two players that fold over to allow them to share a pair of legs. The 2 3/16th-by-4 ¾-inch cards have a full-bleed image of the primary player on the front and a smaller image of the secondary player on the back that shares space with statistics for both and the Mecca Cigarettes script at the bottom. The offered card is found in a PSA 1 holder and arguably presents better than its technical grade. The painting of the legendary Hall of Famer hurler Brown on the front is crisp and colorful; almost all of the staining, toning, slight paper loss and small pencil notations appear on the back on the section with the statistics and Mecca Cigarettes script.
