Here is an important Hughie Jennings card from a truly elegant turn-of-century tobacco issue, the alarming condition-sensitive T205 Gold Borders with gold-leaf, full-bleed card fronts that so readily reveal even the slightest nicks to the gold accents. Adding to the uniqueness of the issue, the set boasts three different designs, customized for the American and National Leagues and a third, even more ornate and intricate, for the one dozen minor leaguers. The card of the legendary Hall of Famer Jennings is one of the more attractive cards in the issue with notably vivid green background, found here in a PSA 1 holder; the card reveals the anticipated chipping and rounded corners, with good centering and a back with staining and toning on the Sweet Caporal back that is off center to bottom and right.
