Presented is a popular Hughie Jennings card from one of the truly difficult early tobacco issues, the 1914 T213 Coupon Cigarettes Type 2 offering that looks for all the world like T206 cards but is markedly rarer. The fact that the cards were produced and distributed almost exclusively in Louisiana only adds to their cachet. There are two variations of Jennings cards in the issue, including this One Hand Showing example that is found in a PSA 1.5 holder. The card has good centering with perhaps 55/45 left to right; the elegant pastel yellow and green background colors are outstanding; the Coupon Cigarettes back is excellent, with just the barest whisper of staining, light toning and uncommonly bold and vivid black printing.
