The iconic and highly coveted 1957 Topps Baseball issue is offered here in a blazing, consistent Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt condition, with almost four dozen cards third-party slabbed and graded to levels that attest to the overall pristine nature of the lot. Roughly 63 percent of the issue comes out to a sterling Near-Mint; another 35 or so percent wind up with an Ex-Mt designation that is only subtly below the Near-Mint lot. The set presents in a uniform, spectacular fashion; indeed, virtually the entire set could fairly be entombed to great effect. The cards show generally good centering, nice color and excellent photo registration in an issue that sometimes displays softness in both areas; the backs boast solid, vivid red-and-blue colors, producing an elegant, clean and uniform presentation.
