As close as you can come to a “Can’t Miss” artifact: the iconic Gallo photograph of Mickey Mantle in 1956 that pictures the great star at the peak of his powers and in the middle of his Triple Crown season. The colorized black-and-white 24x34 photo is one of the most recognizable Mantle image known of the many thousands taken over the years, and is complemented here by a equally iconic Mickey Mantle blue Sharpie autograph, with his No. 7 inscription added below. The poster has been affixed to heavy board for additional protection; overall it presents in largely Ex-Mt condition, though there is one small ding on the lower left-hand section that barely intrudes ¼ inch on the presentation and a bit of wear on that small lower-left corner. Like the player himself, this is simply a classic. PSA/DNA pre-certified.
