This jersey was worn by George Hendrick during the 1978 season with the Cardinals. The jersey features a vintage Cardinals logo stitched directly into the front, with double tacklet twill "25" below. Hendrick's name and number "25" patches are sewn on the back in red with blue trim. There is a Rawlings size 42 tag sewn into the front left inside tail, with a "Set 1 1977" flap tag affixed to the right side. Hendrick played the 1977 season with the Padres, but was traded to the Cardinals 36 games into the 1978 season when he must have been given last year's model jersey to wear. The jersey shows great use, with stains throughout, puckering and pilling throughout and various minor holes along the front.
