This blonde Mizuno Pro professional model bat was used by Mike Piazza during the 2000 season. The bat exhibits medium use in the form of stitch marks, cleat marks and bat rack paint on the back of the barrel, as well as a light coat of pine tar running about 14" up the handle. Piazza's jersey number "31" is written in black marker on the knob and the end of the barrel and the letters "MP" are stamped into the knob. Measuring 34.5" long and uncracked, this one is a nice example of a future Hall of Fame catcher.
