Given its unique status as the most-important basketball issue in the decade, this set is often found in sparkling condition, and this pristine, virtually untouched complete set fits right in with that conventional wisdom. From start to finish, with essentially no disparity between the condition of the greatest stars and the commons, the set and stickers are uniformly Nr-Mt to Mt, with emphasis to the upper end of the range.
Five of the key cards have been third-party slabbed and graded, a fitting testament to the overall condition range of the issue: No. 57 Jordan – PSA 7, Jordan Sticker – PSA 8 (st), No. 9 Barkley – PSA 9, No. 82 Olajuwon – PSA 8.5 and No. 121 Wilkins – PSA 8.
Simply as-issued material, preserved perfectly for a quarter century.
