This is a very nice high-grade example of the colorful 1971-72 Topps Hockey set, a basically Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt to Mt offering, with some falling below that range but the vast majority pushed to the upper end. The issue boasts nice colors and decent centering, attractive white borders and super-clean backs. Ten of the keys have been third-party slabbed and graded: No. 10 Plante – SGC 6, 20 Phil Esposito – SGC 7, 29 Tardiff – PSA 8, 45 Dryden – SGC 7, 70 Howe – PSA 8, 100 Orr – SGC 5.5, 110 Tony Esposito – SGC 6.5, 114 Clarke – PSA 7, 125 Mikita – PSA 7, and 111 Checklist – PSA 6.
