On May 5, 1961, America launched the historic beginnings of the space program. The Mercury astronauts have celebrated those historic beginnings with this limited edition lithograph signed by John Glenn, Alan Shepard, Wally Schirra, Gordon Cooper, Deke Slayton, Scott Carpenter and Better Grissom (who signed by Gus). The litho measures 25x35 with a one-inch border and is numbered 168/1500. Each pencil signature has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA and arrives with the COA from the Mercury Seven Foundation dated August 6, 1991. This one is flawless minus a couple scattered brown spots in the upper left corner which could be matted out.
