Here are two actual bricks from the now vanished iconic stadiums from New York and Baltimore, important artifacts that jointly span more than eight decades of American League history. The bricks are roughly equal in size – approximately 8-by-4 inches and 2 inches deep – with the Yankee Stadium brick presented in an attractive 10-by-6-inch wood presentation stand with silver-and-black nameplate that appears on the front showing the Stadium façade and the title, with “Authentic Monument Park Brick from Yankee Stadium (1923-2008).” A 9-by-5-inch clear acrylic box (5 inches high) protects the artifact on its mirrored base. Comes with Letter of Authenticity from Steiner Collectibles.
The Baltimore Memorial Stadium brick has a 4-by-1 ½-inch nameplate directly affixed to the brick noting “Memorial Stadium, Balt. Md. 1949-1997,” and the quotation “Time will not dim the glory of their deeds.” Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Orioles Museum and the Maryland Stadium Authority.
