This 1975 World Football League (WFL) game-worn pants and jersey, in addition to a program, composes this lot. Presented is a white home jersey worn by Jerry Tagge for the San Antonio Wings during the ill-fated final season of the WFL. Tagge was a star QB for the 1970 and 1971 Nebraska National Championship team and the No. 1 draft pick of the Green Bay Packers, but never lived up to his college success and signed with San Antonio in 1975. Tagge appeared in just one game before the WFL folded on Oct. 22, 1975. The San Antonio Wings program is from Sept. 28, 1975 shows Tagge on the roster and is for a game against the Memphis Southmen/Grizzlies, who show Jim Kiick, Larry Csonka and Paul Warfield on the roster. The pants may not have been worn by Tagge, but display evidence of war by an offensive guard (No. 62 Tim Brennan from Maryland).
