This 5.5x4.5 invitation is for the Fifth Annual Theme Party Italian Festival given by John Wayne Gacy & Jim Van Vorous. The party is slated for July 15, 1978 at 8213 West Summerdale in Norwood Park, Illinois, which is precisely the date and location of when Gacy was arrested for the battery of Jeffrey Rignall. Gacy murdered 33 people in between 1972 and 1978 so this party was right around the end of his killing spree. He was facing trial for the Rignall crime when he was arrested again in Dec. of 1978 and spent the rest of his living days in jail.
