Hall of Famer Luis Aparicio spent his final two seasons with the Boston Red Sox following a December 1970 trade from the Chicago White Sox. The slick-fielding shortstop wore this McAuliffe/KM Pro size 7 1/8 navy blue Red Sox Cap for those final two seasons. This hat features the Red Sox “B” embroidered on the front in red and white and Aparicio’s number “11” has been hand written in blue marker on the underside green brim. This cap shows heavy use with dirt and sweat stains, and the inside sweat band lining has cracking throughout. The “B” has been stained by dirt and sweat and Aparicio signed his name in silver marker on the brim and inscribed “1994 HOF”. The “1994 HOF” inscription is slightly smudged but is still readable. This hat comes with a COAs from PSA/DNA and BAS for the signature and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use.
