Here is a pair of game-worn road jerseys from one of the most prominent and revered college football programs in the country, Ohio State, or The Ohio State, as they like to say. Both show game use (nameplates removed from the back), with minimal fraying of the delicate red stitching at the numerals. We'll start with the No. 81 Size 46 Nike jersey in white mesh and Dureen that has the appropriate Nike labeling at the collar; it has the shortened tail extending on 4 ½ inches from the bottom of the number. The shirt has the enormous red tackle twill No. 81 front and back, plus smaller versions on the shoulder pads, along with the vaunted Nike Swoosh logo embroidered in red on the front-left pads. Shirt has the silver, black and red screen printing on each sleeve. The second shirt is white mesh and Dureen, and has the traditional length extending 7 inches past the bottom of the player number – No. 96 – front and back, plus smaller versions on the shoulder pads. The Size 52 shirt has the Nike tagging at the collar and the famed Swoosh embroidered in red on the front left pad, plus the silver, black and red screen printing on each sleeve. It shows some game use and just the barest whisper of fraying of some of the delicate stitching on the numbers.
