This Aug. 8, 1970 clash between Joe Namath and O.J. Simpson et. al is neatly represented in this super rare official program for the exhibition game in Birmingham, Ala., that was sponsored by the Birmingham Kiwanis to benefit the Drug Abuse Center and Clinic. The 8 ½-by-11-inch program is 76 pages, with color cover artwork depicting Simpson and Namath; the program presents close to Ex-Mt but probably warrants a VG-Ex technical grade from some light creasing and staining. Accompanying the hard-to-find program is a 5-by-2 ½-inch ticket stub from the game that bears the portraits of the two future NFL Hall of Famers. The ticket presents reasonably well but commands a Fair official grade from paper loss at one corner and back damage and repair.
