This J. deBeer & Son baseball features the rare and desirable signature of Rogers Hornsby on the sweet spot. Hornsby signed boldly in purple ballpoint pen, with the signature authenticated by JSA with a full LOA. While autographs on paper from this St. Louis hero are relatively available, high-grade single-signed baseballs such as the one presented here find their way to the auction block very rarely, and should be considered strongly by any serious Hall of Fame baseball collector.
